Moving beyond eulogization, romanticization of Gandhi, ISGS endeavors to promote national conceptualization of Gandhian philosophy and action.” Gandhi’s thought and actions emanated from his characteristic total view of life, ISGS has constantly tried to promote the study of Gandhian thought at the level of Universities as a separate and an independent discipline, It is highly appreciable that the number of Universities with Departments of Gandhian Studies has increased with every passing year.
